ISO certification is approval given by a third party auditor that a company operates at one of the international standards developed and published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
Founded in 1947, with headquarters in Switzerland, the ISO does not provide direct certification- this is provided through an external certification body.
ISO standards are agreed upon by experts and may be described as the best recommended way of doing things.

Yes. ISO certification can be awarded from certified external parties- Global Registrar Systems (GRS) and the Organization for Technical Conformity (OTC)- which have partnered with TOPAZ Ltd.

Yes. TOPAZ (The Oasis Professional Assistance Zone) Ltd provides consultancy services (ISO Standards certification/guidance/training, and  Health/Safety/ Environment training) for employees.

ISO certification costs depends on the size of your organization, the standard at which you are currently operating, and the standards you wish to implement. Feel free to contact us via phone or email to receive a quote.

The durations for implementation will vary from company to company, but company size is often a big predictor of the time it will take to implement. Some rules of thumb would be:

  • Companies of up to 10 employees – up to 3 months.

  • Up to 50 employees – 3 to 6 months.

  • Up to 200 employees – 6 to 10 months.

  • More than 200 employees – 10 to 20 months.

4. Monitoring of the implementation process

The best place to start is ISO 9001: 2015, as this is the core standard on which most of the other well-known standards are based. We will advise on further standards upon an assessment of your organizational needs.

There are no specific requirements. TOPAZ Ltd will guide you through the process.

Once you decide to proceed, TOPAZ Ltd will provide a document checklist. If you do not have all the documents, we will guide you in obtaining them.

The time taken depends on how much was previously in place and how much time you are willing to dedicate to it. Generally, once a system has been implemented, you will spend an average of 6 hours per week maintaining it.

You will receive recommendations as necessary. Regular exercises include internal audits, document control and management review meetings.

We advise that more than one person be responsible/ has knowledge of the ISO system and how it works in your organization.

Support Visit provides additional support in the areas you feel less confident with, whether that’s ensuring you’re compliant for your next re-certification audit or need help running a Management Review Meeting. These visits are completely flexible and led by you to ensure you feel confident in the day-to-day running of your management system.
Re-certification Audit
At your Re-certification audit we will assess whether you are still compliant to the management standard.

Remote audits are conducted synchronously (online) via meeting software such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype or Google Meet.
